Website Hosting and Technical Data

This website runs on WordPress and is hosted by Hostinger. When the website is accessed, the hosting infrastructure may process technical connection and server-log information needed to deliver and protect the site, such as the IP address, date and time of access, requested page, referring page, browser or device information, and error or security data.

Request a Quote (RFQ)

The Request a Quote form is provided using Forminator (form ID 21). When you submit an RFQ, we process the information you enter, which may include your name, company or business information, email address, telephone or other contact information, country, product or category information, quantities, target price, requested delivery date, sourcing or project requirements, and other enquiry details.

You may optionally upload reference files in JPG, PNG or PDF format, with a maximum file size of 10 MB. Please do not upload information that is unnecessary for your enquiry.

RFQ submissions and uploaded files are stored in WordPress/Forminator. Administrative notifications are sent to info@ka-sourcing.com through Hostinger Email. FluentSMTP is used for authenticated email delivery.

Purposes of Processing

  • Operating, delivering, maintaining and protecting the website.
  • Receiving, reviewing and responding to sourcing and RFQ enquiries.
  • Evaluating product, sourcing and project requirements.
  • Storing RFQ submissions and optional uploaded files.
  • Communicating with prospective customers and sending administrative RFQ notifications.
  • Technical troubleshooting, security and prevention of misuse.
  • Managing a potential or resulting business relationship.

Legal Bases

Where the GDPR applies, personal data is processed as necessary to take steps at your request before entering into a contract or to perform a contract (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR), to comply with applicable legal obligations (Article 6(1)(c) GDPR), and for legitimate interests in operating a secure business website, handling business enquiries and communicating with prospective or existing customers (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR). Where processing is specifically based on consent, Article 6(1)(a) GDPR applies and consent may be withdrawn for future processing.

Recipients and Service Providers

Personal data may be processed through Hostinger’s website-hosting and email services. WordPress, Forminator and FluentSMTP are used within the website to operate the site, store form submissions and deliver administrative email. Access is limited to persons and service providers who require it for these purposes or where disclosure is required by law.

International Processing

KA SOURCING and its proprietor are based in Pakistan. Information submitted by visitors in the EU or EEA is therefore received by and may be accessed or processed by the controller in Pakistan, outside the EU/EEA. Where the GDPR applies, international processing and transfers are handled in accordance with the applicable requirements of Chapter V GDPR.

Retention

RFQ submissions, uploaded files and related correspondence are retained only for as long as reasonably necessary to respond to the enquiry, evaluate or manage a potential or resulting business relationship, meet applicable legal obligations, and establish, exercise or defend legal claims. Retention therefore depends on the nature and outcome of the enquiry. FluentSMTP operational email logs are automatically deleted after 14 days. Hosting and email service logs may be retained according to the provider’s operational and security practices.

Cookies, Analytics and Embedded Services

This website uses Google Analytics 4 only after you choose “Allow analytics” in the consent banner. Before consent, the Google Analytics script is not loaded and no analytics cookies or analytics data are sent. If you consent, Google Analytics may process information about your use of the website, including pages viewed, approximate location derived from the IP address, device and browser information, referral information and interaction data. Analytics is used to understand website usage and improve the website. The legal basis where the GDPR applies is your consent under Article 6(1)(a) GDPR.

You may reject analytics without affecting use of the website and may withdraw or change your choice at any time through the “Cookie settings” control. Withdrawing consent prevents future analytics collection; it does not affect processing that occurred before withdrawal. Google acts as an analytics service provider and may process data outside the EU/EEA under its applicable data-protection arrangements. No advertising features or marketing tracking are configured. Google reCAPTCHA, hCaptcha, embedded Google Maps and embedded YouTube are not intentionally configured. WordPress, hosting or security functions may use strictly technical storage where required to provide and protect the website.

Automated Decision-Making

RFQ submissions are not used for automated decision-making or profiling.

Your Rights

Where the GDPR applies, you may have rights to request access to and rectification or erasure of your personal data, restriction of processing, data portability, and to object to certain processing. Where processing is based on consent, you may withdraw consent at any time for future processing. You may also have the right to lodge a complaint with a competent data-protection supervisory authority.
